What this warning usually means
The PCM has detected an SCR fault — commonly low reductant pressure, poor SCR efficiency or a NOx sensor problem.
On EcoBlue Transits the tank module and injector are frequent causes; on Rangers, sensor and heater faults are common.
Can the vehicle still start?
Yes until the counter reaches zero. If it's at zero and still running, keep it running only if safe, and contact us before switching off.
