Symptoms of a failing pump
- "Reductant pressure too low" style codes and repeated warnings
- Audible pump priming that runs longer than normal or not at all
- Warnings that appear on cold mornings and clear when warm
- No dosing recorded in live data even though the tank is full
- A countdown that restarts each drive cycle without ever clearing
What changes the price
- Pump module versus complete delivery unit versus tank-integrated assembly
- Access — some are tank-mounted and need the tank dropped or partially drained
- Genuine or quality aftermarket part choice
- Whether lines and filters are crystallised and need replacing too
- Software priming and calibration after fitting
Why pressure testing matters first
A low pressure reading can also come from a blocked injector, a restricted line, contaminated fluid, a pressure sensor fault or a wiring problem in the pump supply. Each one is far cheaper to fix than a pump.
We measure actual pressure build under command, check the delivery path and test the electrical supply before recommending a replacement.
