What the Vivaro/Movano dashboard usually says
Exact wording varies by year and software — send us a photo.
- "Starting impossible in XXX miles" (later PSA-based Vivaro)
- "Check AdBlue — no start in XXX miles" (Renault-based Movano/earlier Vivaro)
- Service vehicle soon with AdBlue lamp
How the Vivaro/Movano AdBlue system works
Vauxhall vans changed platform over the years: earlier Vivaro and Movano share Renault hardware, while the Vivaro from 2019 uses PSA BlueHDi hardware. The fault strategy and likely failures differ between them.
Telling us the year and registration up front helps identify the platform before the visit.
Fault codes we commonly see on the Vivaro/Movano
- P20E8 — Pressure fault — common on PSA-based vans
- P20EE — SCR efficiency
- P2BAD — NOx exceedence
What we check on site
The technician confirms the right repair after checking the vehicle. Many faults are fixed on the spot; some need a part ordered. Mobile call-out from £150 minimum. Final cost depends on the vehicle, location, diagnosis and work required.
- Identify which platform the van uses from the registration
- Read the relevant ECU and SCR data
- Test pump, heater and NOx sensors per platform
- Check tank wiring on high-mileage vans
