What the Daily dashboard usually says
Exact wording varies by year and software — send us a photo.
- AdBlue / urea warning lamp with power derate
- Engine management and AdBlue lamps together
- Vehicle in limp mode on the road
How the Daily AdBlue system works
The Daily uses a dedicated SCR dosing system with heated pump and NOx sensors, and tends to derate power when dosing is ineffective — behaving more like a light truck than a van.
Tippers, Lutons and minibuses on Daily chassis are often off the road for a whole crew, so we treat them as urgent.
Fault codes we commonly see on the Daily
- P20E8 — Pressure fault
- P20EE — SCR efficiency
- P229F — NOx sensor
What we check on site
The technician confirms the right repair after checking the vehicle. Many faults are fixed on the spot; some need a part ordered. Mobile call-out from £150 minimum. Final cost depends on the vehicle, location, diagnosis and work required.
- Read engine and SCR modules, check derate status
- Test pump pressure and heater
- Inspect conversion/chassis-cab wiring
- Check NOx sensor data
