What affects the price
- Make, model and engine — some ECUs are far more involved to work on than others
- Whether the vehicle already has a fault, no-start or countdown active
- Whether the SCR system is run by the engine ECU or a separate AdBlue module
- Location and whether it is an emergency or scheduled visit
Call-out charge
Mobile call-out from £150 minimum. Final cost depends on the vehicle, location, diagnosis and work required. That is the minimum charge for a mobile visit, not the price of the job itself. Your full quote is confirmed from the registration first.
Is repair cheaper?
Sometimes. A blocked injector, wiring fault or crystallised line can cost less to fix than people expect — and repair is the only lawful option for a road-registered vehicle. We diagnose first so you can compare.
Who a delete is for
Software deactivation is only for vehicles used off-road, in competition, on private land or exported. For UK road use it is not lawful and will fail an MOT, so for road vehicles we quote the repair instead.
